Barcelona based Symphonic Black Metal band Asgaroth started out life in 1994 as a solo project conceived by Daniel. Chris joined him the following year and the band recorded a mini-album, The Quest For Eldenhor (released through Newgotia/Repulse Records).

Later in 1995, the duo recruited a drummer and recorded their first full-length album, the classic, Trapped In The Depths Of Eve.
