Concluding Peaceville’s series of the legendary line-up's four recorded shows comes Live in Jessheim. Featuring the line-up of Euronymous, Dead, Hellhammer and Necrobutcher, this is one of only a handful of recordings featuring the Norwegian black metal quartet in arguably their most influential period, as they forged a sound and darkness entirely of their own, before going on to almost single-handedly inspire a whole scene across a generation.

This edition of Live in Jessheim is presented officially for the first time, and features audio taken from a new source. The release includes a booklet containing extensive interviews with figures such as Snorre Ruch (Thorns, ex-Mayhem) & Maniac (ex-Mayhem), and information on the events surrounding the show, which took place on 03/02/1990 and featured timeless Mayhem tracks, including ‘Deathcrush’, ‘Funeral Fog’ & ‘Freezing Moon’.

Le Vampire et le Sorcier : non, je ne parle pas d'un film fantastique ou de romance gothique qui serait passé sous votre radar mais d'un split qui réunit Old Nick (sa dernière sortie de 2020, qui aura comporté un autre split, deux albums et sept E.P.) et Hex Clock. Si le premier est inégalable, le talent du second se confirme déjà. Le raw black metal des deux artistes est épique, drôle, absurde, brut de décoffrage mais il charme, il ensorcelle.
