The Triumph (Of Night & Fire)

from Black Royal Spiritism - I.O Sino da Igreja by RUIM

/

about

The first single to be taken from RUÏM’s debut album ‘Black Royal Spiritism – I – O Sino De Igreja’ – Rune Eriksen, the band’s founder explains the song’s meaning “The song represents some sorts of a nexus, a binding energy or a red line that runs through the album thematically. Not only from a lyrical point of view with its spiritual "battle cry" of sorts, but also from a musical standpoint. The cleaner, eerie passages mixed with the chaos-like elements, vivid time changes and brute power all serve as junctions to the dedication and brute power all serve as junctions to the dedication and passion”

lyrics

The Triumph (of Night & Fire)

Comigo ninguém pode
Mas Eu posso com tudo
Na minha encruzilhada
Eu sou Exu Veludo

" Dar louvor e honra ao mestre da linha esquerda"

By drums and sadistic poetry, a blackened spiral carries the call
From the enraging depths to ascendance
From beyond the halls of your kingship (Minstrels praise the Arts of War)
Enraging - blackened transcendence

Come! Slay to the sound of the trumpets that feed your name
Come!
Swept in black and red, swords everlasting and bright
Unto their throats, unto the pale and the feeble carriers of deceit
Who forever withers under these crimson skies
On a bed of daggers, blackened skulls and wrathful prayers
Come!
